Arsenal are famous for their unbeaten season in 2003/04 but the current Manchester City side seem like the side that can match that record. They have racked up 34 points after 12 league games. They face Huddersfield Town this weekend but the attacking power at City should prevail again.
With the Top Six sides not strong enough to match City’s firepower, Pep Guardiola and his boys have enjoyed uninhibited rise. It is more likely that a small side would frustrate and get a late winner than an average side or big side defeating City this term. With the way things are going, City would remain unbeaten this season.

Pep Guardiola has dismissed suggestions that the Champions League group for Manchester city is an easy one.
After having been paired up alongside some of the best teams in the world even at the group stages, City may be set for an easy ride after being involved in a group containing Feyenoord, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Napoli. However, Guardiola has downplayed expectations by claiming that all the teams have great pedigree when it comes to this competition, while Napoli are of the top three teams in European football at the moment.
Italian outfit Napoli had to reach this stage of the competition after negotiating a qualifier, as they could only finish third in the Italian Serie A last season. City also had a similar finish but in a much higher Premier league competition. City are the overwhelming favourites to reach the knockout stages from this group, but Guardiola knows that his team should be prepared for surprises. It was the summer of 2013 and United were on the hunt for creative forces to aid their ageing squad.
Amidst the back and forth transfer rumours of that time the fact that Manchester United biggest concern was their midfield was not lost on anybody.
Despite dominating EPL scenes season in season out, their midfield remained one big bag of big concern and was mostly at fault each time they faltered. The double Champions League final losses to Barcelona had more to do with their mid-spine.
In breaking the bank and having Anders Herrera and MarouaneFellaini, plus Michael Carrick still hanging around, United can be said to have finally fixed an overdue bug and with that everyone’s clamour has been laid to bed.
Still, United this season managed to finish 24 points behind champions Chelsea and 7 off the Champions League spots, leaving them hanging on Wednesday’s Europa League thread as their last resort to the UCL route. And that’s plain shameful. Continue reading UNITED BADLY NEED JAMES RODRIGUEZ
In order to not get behind the likes of Chelsea and the rest of the top clubs in the English Premier League, Pep Guardiola has stated that he wants and has to be active in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Pep Guardiola is confident that all of the title contenders of the top tier English League will be very active when the transfer window re-opens on July 1st
and this is going to force him on having to reinforce his squad as well.
‘’We speak every day about what we do to improve the quality of the players we have, and will have in the future. What we can do get better and, of course, buy some players to help us to be stronger’’

I remember Sir Alex Ferguson would win titles and titles but every season would change players. You have to do that.” Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola said. Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero has put the club’s 4-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park behind him as he and his girlfriend, Karina Tajeda went their four-year wedding anniversary celebration.
The Argentina international striker posted a picture on Instagram
with the caption: ‘Four years with you! I love you.’
Tajeda may just be the star’s girlfriend in England but she is just as famous as her footballing boyfriend in Argentina. As a major pop star in South America, together they form something very much like Posh and Becks.
Aguero met his famous partner at a concert shortly after his very public split from Giannina Maradona – daughter of footballing legend Diego and mother to his son Benjamin – and the have been inseparable since then. It had brought a bright end to an otherwise poor showing for the striker after he and his teammates were humiliated by Ronald Koeman’s men.
