Manuel Pellegrini may consider requirement if he does not find any suitable offer

Manuel Pellegrini has stated that he will consider retirement in case he does not find any suitable offer.

He wants to give himself some time to think about the different offers and then take a decision about his future. He admits that he loves football and that it will be hard for him to leave without the challenge of managing a top club.

At the moment, it is believed that Everton might be interesting in hiring Manuel Pellegrini but for the time being there are no concrete offers. The former Manchester City manager said that he has no problem to take a break from football if ever there is no interesting offer. He might even consider retirement altogether if ever there is no offer in the long run. However, it is hard to imagine that a qualified and successful manager such as Pellegrini will be out of work for long. We would probably have to wait after the Euros to find out which club he will be managing next season.

He has also commented his past season with Manchester City and stated that this was the least successful season he had in England. He believes that there various factors that have contributed to this poor season.

Man City Moves Into Champions League Semi Finals

Fans have their eyes set on Man City and Real Madrid game that is scheduled this evening.

They will be chasing their dream of winning the Champions League as they get into the semifinal rounds. Zinedin Zidane has been bolstering the confidence of his team and the Real Madrid team definitely seems ready to win over anyone at this moment. However Man City will surely not be an easy opponent to defeat.

The first leg of the semi final matches commence today. Man City has gotten out of the title race for the Premier League this time. Hence, the Champions League semi finals would be crucial for them. Manuel Pellegrini will also be scouting for the honor and glory as head of the team in this match and subsequent matches before the next season began. He will be leaving Lancashire and emptying his position for Pep Guardiola whose tenure will begin for the next season.

Luka Modric still the Best Player for Real Madrid

Luka Modric has been a key player for Real Madrid even though the likes of Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to grab the headlines.

The Croatian midfielder moved to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2012 for a fee of around £ 30 million. It may have taken him 12 months to get settled in Spanish football, but he has since been one of the finest players in the midfield. It is clear that Madrid value the presence of the Croatian a lot. Hence, it is not surprising to find that he has a massive transfer fee inserted into his release clause.

Given that Real Madrid made a good some money – by 2012 standards, the club will stand to receive at least £ 387 million if a club wants to talk with Modric without the permission of Madrid. The release clause is an astronomical figure and any top player like Modric will be difficult to get on the cheap. Primarily due to this release clause, it looks like Modric will end up playing at Madrid for a few more years before the club eventually want to look at another player in the centre of the park. Current manager Zinedine Zidane continues to place a lot of faith in the Croatian.
