 
He was the lead guitar player with the Nighthawks for 15 years then shared the leads with Tom PRINCIPATO with the ASSASSINS and started his solo career more than 10 years ago. Thackery is a flamboyant player whose guitar style developed in parallel with Stevie Ray's. And his band sure has some drive!

Born in Genova, Italy in 1960. He began to play guitar in 1975 after studying music theory, harmony and piano. In 1986 attended a summer course at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Graduated in music semiotics at University of Bologna, Italy.
From 1985 to 1990 he has been leading Big Fat Mama, one of the most important rock-blues bands in Italy, with whom recorded three LPs, played top clubs and festivals (opening for Johnny Winter, Pogues, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Los Lobos), appeared on national TV networks. Has 3 solo cds under his own
name. Toured summer of 2002 with slide master Roy ROGERS as a duo.
